Russian invasion on Ukraine
An imminent Russian invasion on Ukraine cannot be ruled out, as the outrageous decision by Russian President to unify the former Soviet country to it, is hard and equally ridiculous as it sounds. Apprehensions for loss of lives and further economic ramifications of such an invasion would be inevitable. United States warns serious repercussions had such an aggression takes on. Although the military and intelligence support from the West and NATO gives Ukrainian soldiers a push for their fight against aggression, the ultimate loss would fall on the comparatively smaller Ukrainian army and their people. Russian military will outnumber them four to one and the Russians have made arrangements with the former Ukrainian government members and rebels who expects a Russian alliance, in case the invasion is made.
More than 127 thousand Russian soldiers presence in the Ukrainian border proves the solid mind of Putin’s dream, even when they denies all possibilities of an aggression. However the question is, does the world is ready for another war which is probable if an invasion to takes place, at a time when the pandemic has already gifted an unprecedented post - war like results.
Russia says it fears for its national security if Ukraine joins NATO and accepts western weapons. But it is Russia who compelled Ukraine a necessity when it snatched a region of Ukraine in 2014 in the first place. Now again when russians demand Ukraine to accept another invasion it is only natural fir them to act against it.
When Chinese tried to invade Taiwan to bring together it with Beijing’s power the same world stood with Taiwan because it was the right thing to do. China had the same ideology to unify it’s former regions after they have grew as an independent democratic republic. The suppression of democracy in Hong Kong was the result of world failure to stop china from imposing restrictions there. The bigger countries if starts to invade it's former lands and colonies it will never possible to end war in generations. That is why it’s important to not allow Russia invade Ukraine.
